Before founding Ally Moving, Juan Carlos Hernandez spent nearly a decade in the moving industry, learning every aspect of the business from the ground up.

Working with one of the nation’s largest moving networks, he gained firsthand experience in:

In 2014, Juan decided to build something of his own — a company focused not only on moving furniture, but on creating a better moving experience.

That vision became Ally Moving.

The beginning was humble:

• One small 16-foot truck
• A mechanic shop serving as the first workspace
• Long days and late nights
• An unwavering determination to build something meaningful

There were no large offices, no fleet of trucks, and no warehouse operation.

In the early days:

Thumbtack became one of our first major platforms, helping us earn trust one move at a time.

Back then, the same people:
